The development of the Plumbing Apprenticeship Level 1 learning resources was a collaborative effort driven by a commitment to excellence in trades education. These resources were created to support apprentices and journeypersons in mastering the skills and knowledge essential to the piping trades. The original materials were produced in collaboration with industry partners and aligned with the Industry Training Authority (ITA)/SkilledTradesBC harmonized program outlines for Plumbing, Steamfitting/Pipefitting, and Sprinkler Fitting. These works were released under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY-NC-SA) licence, except where otherwise noted.

This TRU Open Press edition includes editorial revisions, updated content, and the addition of new images, alongside selected images carried forward from the original BC Industry Authority BC (SkilledTradesBC).
